This role is crucial, and we are looking for someone genuinely interested in people development and organizational behavior.

2. Job Description

We are hiring a Paid Learning & Development (L&D) HR Intern who will support the Human Resource function in key initiatives. This role is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain real-world experience in HR, particularly in Learning and Development.

This is a remote internship that will last between 2 to 3 months, and if the performance is strong, it could open doors to further opportunities within the company. You will be part of a supportive team that values learning, encourages initiative, and gives interns the space to think creatively.

As an L&D Intern, your job will be to support the HR department in training, development planning, and intern coordination. You will get exposure to the internal workings of HR in a tech-based company, and your role will directly impact the experience of interns and new employees.

Your day-to-day work will involve coordinating training schedules, helping design learning materials, and communicating with different departments to ensure that employees are receiving the right kind of support. You will also assist in onboarding new team members and evaluating the effectiveness of training sessions.

Here is what your role will typically include:

  • Support HR Projects: Assist in the design and execution of L&D projects. This can include preparing onboarding plans, drafting learning roadmaps, and suggesting improvements for internal HR processes.
  • Training Coordination: Help organize training sessions for employees and interns. From scheduling to follow-ups, you will be responsible for smooth coordination.
  • Content Assistance: Help prepare content for internal communication, learning modules, and HR-related resources. These can include slide decks, internal memos, or documents shared across teams.
  • Internship Management: You will manage a small group of interns. This includes tracking their progress, giving regular feedback, and helping them stay aligned with their goals.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new employees. You’ll be responsible for introducing them to the company’s tools, processes, and people.
  • Culture Development: Work with the HR team to promote a positive and engaging learning environment. This may include suggesting events, activities, or sessions that strengthen company values.

This internship is designed to be a learning experience. You won’t be micromanaged, but you will be guided. You’ll have access to learning resources, weekly check-ins with your supervisor, and the freedom to propose and implement new ideas.

3. Eligibility Criteria

This internship is suitable for those who are passionate about HR, learning development, and team building. If you’re someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, is organized, and wants to grow a career in Human Resources, this opportunity is for you.

To be eligible for this internship, you must meet the following:

  • Education: Final-year students or fresh graduates in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or any related field. Those from non-HR backgrounds but with relevant skills will also be considered.
  • Communication Skills: You must have strong written and verbal communication skills. You will be communicating with team members across departments, so clarity and professionalism are important.
  • Tech-Friendly: Since this is a remote position, you should be comfortable using communication tools like Zoom, Google Meet, and Slack. Knowledge of MS Office or Google Docs is essential.
