Job Description

The Pre-Sales Engineer will be responsible for leading the pre-sales process for ELV and ICT projects. The role involves understanding client requirements, conducting site surveys, and preparing detailed design and estimation documents to support project proposals. The engineer will prepare technical submittals, pre-qualification documents, and liaise with the sales team to ensure that all proposals meet client and industry standards.

A key aspect of the role is providing technical expertise that supports business development. The engineer will evaluate project specifications, select suitable technologies, and provide accurate cost estimates to ensure competitive and compliant bids. Site visits and surveys will form part of the job, requiring attention to detail and the ability to translate on-ground requirements into precise documentation. The engineer will also coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure proposed solutions align with project needs.

This position requires not only technical expertise but also strong communication and presentation skills, as the engineer will frequently engage with clients to explain proposed solutions. The role requires proficiency in understanding ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, building management systems, data networks, and other ICT infrastructure. A valid UAE driving license is mandatory, as the role involves regular site visits and client interactions across Dubai.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are essential, while Arabic language proficiency will be an added advantage. The candidate should be confident, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment. Certifications in ELV, ICT, or vendor-specific training will also be considered a plus.
