Job Description
The Primary Design Engineer at MAK Power will be responsible for designing HV substations, including both GIS and AIS systems. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed designs for HV substations (GIS/AIS) in compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with project teams, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Perform technical analysis and calculations to optimize substation layouts and equipment selection.
- Prepare design documentation, drawings, and specifications for project approval and execution.
- Support project execution teams during construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues and propose effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, technical standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Stay updated on new technologies, standards, and best practices in HV substation design.
