Job Description

The Process Safety role at Aragen Life Sciences is designed for fresh graduates and professionals with up to three years of experience who are interested in building a strong foundation in EHSS and process safety within the life sciences sector.

The selected candidates will support process and power safety risk assessments under the guidance of senior safety professionals. This includes assisting in hazard identification activities, understanding risk assessment methodologies, and learning how safety considerations are integrated into laboratory and process design.

A key responsibility of this role involves supporting laboratory-based safety evaluations. Candidates will work closely with research and engineering teams to understand experimental setups, chemical handling practices, and operational risks associated with laboratory activities. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow structured safety protocols.

Data analysis and report preparation are also important aspects of this position. Process safety engineers will assist in collecting safety-related data, analyzing trends, and preparing structured reports that support decision-making and compliance requirements. Over time, candidates will develop the ability to interpret data in the context of risk reduction and operational improvement.

The role provides exposure to real-world safety challenges faced in chemical and pharmaceutical environments. Candidates will learn how safety studies are conducted, documented, and reviewed, as well as how recommendations are implemented across various operational stages.

This position offers a strong learning curve, practical exposure, and the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary environment where safety, engineering, and science intersect.
