Scholarship Description
The Russian Government Scholarship Program 2026–27 is open for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs across all major academic disciplines, including engineering, medicine, natural sciences, economics, arts, and social sciences.
The application process is conducted entirely online through the portal www.education-in-russia.com. Applicants must create a profile, select their level of education, choose their desired field of study, and list six preferred universities in order of priority. Once submitted, changes to the application or selected universities cannot be made.
What the Scholarship Covers:
- Full tuition fee waiver for the entire duration of the program.
- Monthly stipend for living expenses.
- Health insurance coverage (for some institutions).
- Access to university facilities, dormitories, and research centers.
What It Does Not Cover:
- Airfare to and from Russia.
- Daily personal expenses such as food, travel, or recreation.
Application Steps:

- Select your desired study program, level, and six universities in order of preference.

- Download, print, and sign the consent form and application form, then re-upload them.

Selection Process:
The evaluation and selection of candidates are based on:

Post-Selection Requirements:
Once selected, applicants must upload the following certified documents (translated into Russian):
- Medical fitness certificate
- HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B & C, and Tuberculosis clearance certificates
- Verified translations by the Russian Consulate

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Russian Government Scholarship Program 2026–27, applicants must meet the following criteria:
General Eligibility:
- Must be a Pakistani or AJK national.
- Must apply directly through the official website only.
- Must have a valid passport at the time of application.
- Must not be availing of any other scholarship at the same time.
- Must ensure that all documents are complete, verified, and translated (if required).
Educational Requirements:
- For Bachelor’s degree programs: Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), A Levels, or Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE).
- For Master’s programs: A recognized Bachelor’s degree with official transcript.
- For PhD programs: A recognized Master’s degree along with research publications and recommendation letters.
Additional Criteria:
- Final-year students (Matric, Intermediate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s) graduating in 2026 must provide current mark sheets and a letter from their school or university confirming expected graduation.
- Applicants can apply for only one field of study per application.
- Strong academic record and motivation to study in Russia are essential.
For PhD Applicants:
- Must submit a research paper, list of publications, and recommendation letter from a Russian university.
- Must specify their intended supervisor and research topic during application.
Language and Adaptability:
