Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer (DeltaV) to join our growing team and support a key customer in North Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing, programming, and commissioning Emerson DeltaV systems from scratch.
- Leading full project lifecycle activities, including control system design, FAT/SAT testing, and on-site startup.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external clients to deliver high-quality automation solutions for Life Sciences facilities.
- Developing S88 batch process control configurations and ensuring compliance with GMP documentation standards.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers through reliable technical support.
Key Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV programming and configuration (from scratch).
- 6+ years of relevant experience in the Life Sciences / Biotechnology industry.
- Proven experience with full lifecycle automation projects, including design, testing, and commissioning.
- Strong understanding of ISA S88 batch processing and GMP compliance.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control, or Chemical Engineering (or related discipline).
