Position Title: Senior Manager – IT (Plant Site)
Job Description:
The Senior Manager – IT (Plant Site) will oversee all technology operations at the Mianwali plant site, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable IT services across the facility. This leadership position requires a highly skilled professional capable of managing infrastructure, systems, and networks in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the complete IT infrastructure, including WLAN, servers, networking, CCTV, and virtualization systems.
- Manage cybersecurity frameworks, data protection policies, and compliance with standards such as ISO, NIST, and IEEE.
- Lead IT procurement, budgeting, vendor management, and resource planning.
- Implement and enforce IT policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks to ensure smooth technology operations.
- Manage and optimize Active Directory, Office 365, endpoint protection, and next-gen firewall systems.
- Drive automation, digital transformation, and infrastructure upgrades at the plant site.
- Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to meet operational and strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and implement suitable solutions to improve plant efficiency.
- Ensure system reliability, network performance, and user support excellence.
- Mentor IT teams, fostering technical growth and leadership capabilities.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in IT management, preferably in plant or industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud systems, cybersecurity, and enterprise network management.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Active Directory & Office 365 administration
- Server management & virtualization
- Network configuration, firewalls, and CCTV systems
- IT project management & procurement
- ITIL-based service management
Certifications (Preferred):
- ITIL, Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) or related industry certifications.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement.
