Job Description

Position Title: Siemens PLC Programmer
System: Siemens
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Employment Type: Full-Time (Deputation Basis)

As a Siemens PLC Programmer at GGN Automation, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning industrial automation systems using Siemens technologies. This role requires hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-300/400/1200/1500 series), HMI/SCADA systems (WinCC, TIA Portal), and industrial communication protocols such as Profibus and Modbus.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of control system architectures, logic development, and troubleshooting in live industrial environments. This is a client-facing role that requires the ability to design systems, test solutions, and ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and program Siemens PLCs and HMIs using TIA Portal and Step 7.
Create and deploy SCADA systems (WinCC) for real-time monitoring and control.
Prepare and maintain system documentation, including control logic, network architectures, FDS, and system configurations.
Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and full system commissioning.
Provide training and technical support to plant operators and maintenance teams.
Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA-related issues in live industrial environments.
Ensure compliance with international automation standards and safety regulations.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

Education: B.Tech or B.E in Automation, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computers, or a related field.
Experience: 2–6 years of relevant experience in Siemens PLC programming and automation systems.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Siemens PLCs (S7-300/400/1200/1500).
- Strong knowledge of TIA Portal, Step 7, and WinCC SCADA.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols like Profibus and Modbus.
- Understanding of industrial networking basics.
