Job Description – Site Engineer
The Site Engineer at GCC will play a critical role in supervising and managing the execution of on-site construction activities. Working closely with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors, the Site Engineer ensures that project specifications are implemented, safety standards are maintained, and timelines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and scheduling construction activities on site.
- Supervise the daily operations of the site and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Monitor and inspect materials, equipment, and work processes to ensure quality and safety.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of resources.
- Participate in site meetings, take notes, and communicate key updates to the project team.
- Track progress and prepare daily or weekly reports for senior engineers and project managers.
- Resolve any technical issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
- Ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed by all site personnel.
- Conduct inspections and testing of completed work to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Collaborate with other departments such as QA/QC, procurement, and HSE for integrated project delivery.
- Review and understand engineering drawings, layouts, and project documentation.
- Use engineering software tools like AutoCAD and MS Project to assist with technical reviews and updates.

Eligibility Criteria
GCC is seeking Saudi national candidates who are fresh graduates or have up to one year of experience. The ideal applicant will be motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a challenging environment.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Or a related engineering field
Graduates must have completed their degree from a recognized university and be eligible to work full-time in Saudi Arabia.
Professional Attributes:
- Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant site-based experience.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and contribute to the team.
- Ability to work on-site under variable conditions (heat, noise, outdoor environments).
- Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of engineering design and construction drawings.
- Familiarity with engineering software such as:
