2. Job Description – Social Media Marketing & IT Support

Position Title: Social Media Marketing & IT Support
Department: Marketing & IT
Location: Head Office, 11KM Raiwind Road, Park Stop, Lahore
Reports To: IT Head
Job Type: Full-Time

The Social Media Marketing & IT Support role is a dual-function position combining digital outreach with technical assistance. You will be responsible for managing the company’s social media presence while also providing basic IT support within the organization. This is not a remote role and requires full-time presence at the head office.


Social Media & Marketing Responsibilities:

As part of the marketing duties, the employee will be expected to:

  • Create, plan, and execute social media campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Design and publish content for B2B and B2C audiences, tailored to technical and non-technical viewers
  • Manage ad budgets and performance across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
  • Write clear and engaging copy for posts, captions, graphics, and promotional material
  • Develop visual content using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
  • Monitor engagement metrics, report weekly analytics, and suggest improvements based on data
  • Stay up to date with digital trends and competitor strategies to refine approach
  • Collaborate with the IT and Engineering departments to align technical messaging with visual communication
  • Respond to messages and comments professionally and route B2B queries to the appropriate teams

IT Support Responsibilities:

As part of the IT support duties, the employee will:

  • Install and configure Windows operating systems on desktops and laptops
  • Set up and maintain local network connections (LAN), printers, and shared drives
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues for internal teams
  • Ensure all systems are updated and free of basic errors
  • Provide on-site assistance to employees across departments needing IT support
  • Maintain a register of IT complaints, resolutions, and assets
  • Work under the supervision of the IT Head to assist with system upgrades or departmental audits
  • Ensure internet connectivity is stable and coordinate with ISPs if needed

This position is ideal for a candidate who is comfortable switching between digital creativity and technical problem-solving. You must be able to take initiative, manage time independently, and coordinate with team members effectively.


3. Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following educational, technical, and personal criteria:


Educational Qualifications:

  • Minimum Requirement: ICS or Intermediate in Computer Sciences
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution
  • Certifications in digital marketing, IT support, or multimedia design will be considered a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in social media management and IT support
  • Internships with digital agencies or IT support roles in industrial organizations will also be considered
  • Proven ability to run ads, generate reports, and handle audience engagement on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram

Technical Skills:

Digital Marketing Skills:

  • Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
