Job Description

The Software Engineer – Product Operations role focuses on supporting product implementations, live systems, and client environments. The position requires strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of software engineering concepts to manage databases, troubleshoot issues, and support transaction processing systems.

The engineer will work on product implementations, including database configuration, API certifications, system migrations, and network reconciliations. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are configured correctly before and during client onboarding. Engineers will also engage directly with clients during implementation and live operational phases.

A key responsibility of the role is supporting financial transaction processing and settlement operations. The engineer will maintain and optimize client instances to ensure that transaction flows, reconciliation processes, and settlement systems operate accurately and efficiently. Attention to detail is critical, as even small errors can impact financial operations.

Troubleshooting is a major part of the job. The Software Engineer will investigate and resolve system, database, and integration issues that arise in live environments. This requires applying structured troubleshooting techniques, analyzing logs, running SQL queries, and coordinating with internal technical teams when escalations are required.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering with a major in Computer Science. A solid academic foundation in software engineering concepts is required.
