Job Description

The role of a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Professional at Chakor is crucial to ensuring that every product released by the company meets the highest standards of quality, functionality, and user experience. As part of the QA team, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving software issues before they reach the end user.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing and executing test plans, running manual and automated tests, reporting bugs, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers to ensure seamless delivery of projects. This role is not just about finding problems — it is about ensuring users experience software that works flawlessly across multiple devices, platforms, and environments.

Key responsibilities include:

Running thorough testing cycles for all new features and updates.
Conducting functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
Collaborating with development teams to design and refine QA plans.
Using QA tools such as Jira, Trello, and BrowserStack to track and manage issues.
Writing detailed test cases and executing them to validate product functionality.
Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure usability and compliance.
Testing across multiple devices and environments to ensure compatibility.
Identifying potential risks, security vulnerabilities, and compliance issues.
Suggesting process improvements and introducing new testing tools or frameworks.

Eligibility Criteria

To succeed in this role, Chakor is seeking candidates with strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate should have:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
1–2 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
A deep understanding of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and defect management.
Experience with testing tools such as Jira, Trello, BrowserStack, LoadRunner, or JMeter.
Ability to write, execute, and analyze test cases and test scripts.
Familiarity with regression testing, performance testing, and cross-device compatibility testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
A proactive attitude towards identifying risks and recommending solutions.
Bonus: Experience in API and integration testing.
