The Solution & Proposal Engineer position is a critical role within INTECH. Job Description
The Solution & Proposal Engineer at INTECH Automation & Intelligence will be responsible for managing and developing technical proposals, project estimations, and RFQ reviews. This role requires in-depth knowledge of automation systems, excellent technical writing skills, and the ability to analyze client requirements to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and develop detailed proposals and technical documentation for automation projects.
- Review RFQs (Request for Quotations) and assess technical feasibility, risks, and compliance.
- Estimate project costs, timelines, and resource requirements accurately.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sales teams to ensure alignment between technical solutions and client expectations.
- Conduct technical evaluations of automation systems, including PLC, DCS, and SCADA solutions.
- Identify potential risks in proposals and ensure mitigation strategies are included.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all proposals, client communications, and project specifications.
- Stay updated on industry standards, automation technologies, and best practices to provide innovative solutions.
- Support clients in understanding technical solutions, system integration, and project scope.
The role involves direct client interaction, detailed technical documentation, and cross-functional coordination. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Solution & Proposal Engineer position must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering disciplines.
- Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, proposal writing, estimation, and RFQ reviews. Experience with PLC/DCS systems (Rockwell, Siemens, Honeywell, ABB, Schneider) and SCADA platforms is essential.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
