Job Description

The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing supply chain operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective management of materials, inventory, and distribution processes.

Key responsibilities include:

Develop processes and methods to gather data on supply chain operations, analyze performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
Analyze operational data to identify issues, inefficiencies, and underperforming areas, and recommend solutions to optimize the supply chain.
Assist in negotiating supplier contracts, service arrangements, and terms to ensure cost-effective procurement and reliable delivery.
Maintain detailed records of inventory, procurement, and supplier performance, and provide regular reports and recommendations to management.
Act as a liaison among customers, field representatives, account managers, and internal departments to ensure accurate inventory availability and timely deliveries.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to implement effective stocking strategies for key product lines and new product launches.
