Job Description
The Team Lead – Calibration Services at Velosi Pakistan is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the calibration department. This leadership role involves supervising a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring that all calibration activities are conducted in compliance with ISO 17025 standards, and delivering high-quality results to both internal and external clients.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical, electronic, or mechatronic engineering, with proven experience in calibration management, instrumentation, and quality systems. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the calibration department staff, ensuring that all technical activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
- Plan, organize, and monitor calibration assignments, ensuring timely completion of projects in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee the department’s quality performance and operational goals, including accuracy, responsiveness, and client satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 calibration quality system requirements, ensuring that all procedures are documented and adhered to.
- Conduct monthly random uncertainty testing to verify the accuracy and reliability of measurement systems.
- Review and align operational procedures with actual work practices, implementing corrective actions wherever required.
- Coordinate the training and development of technical staff, ensuring continuous improvement in skills, knowledge, and safety awareness.
- Monitor team attendance, productivity, sales, and billing performance to achieve departmental targets.
- Manage workflow and prioritize assignments to optimize efficiency across calibration projects.
- Develop and update calibration test procedures, establish standardized certificate templates, and ensure document control within the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Identify and eliminate redundant or unnecessary tests after appropriate review and approval.
- Plan for current and future capacity of the calibration department, aligning resources with business needs and client demand.
- Implement strategies to achieve 100% on-time delivery of calibration services by reducing lead time and improving process flow.
- Collaborate with senior management to set performance objectives, review progress, and propose process improvement initiatives.
- Support audits, client reviews, and accreditation assessments to ensure full compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Drive a continuous improvement culture within the department, using data analysis to identify trends, root causes, and corrective measures.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:

- Proven record of managing a technical team within a laboratory or field calibration environment.
