Job Description
The Technical Support Specialist at Revoo EV plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the company’s 3S dealership network and maintaining the highest standards of technical service and customer satisfaction. This position involves a mix of fieldwork, training, and technical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Assistance: Provide direct technical support to the company’s 3S dealerships by addressing product-related queries, diagnosing faults, and guiding technicians on corrective actions.
- Dealer Training: Conduct regular training sessions for dealership technicians on electric bike assembly, diagnostic procedures, fault identification, and system troubleshooting.
- Workshops and Demonstrations: Organize hands-on workshops, refresher courses, and live product demonstrations for service teams and customers to improve product understanding and confidence.
- Product Diagnostics: Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify issues in EV systems, including battery packs, BMS, motors, controllers, and charging systems.
- Technical Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of service issues, performance feedback, and resolutions. Submit periodic reports highlighting recurring technical challenges and suggesting design or process improvements.
- Dealer Support Coordination: Act as a liaison between the company’s technical department and dealerships, ensuring that all service requests and warranty claims are handled efficiently.
- Training Material Development: Assist in creating technical guides, training modules, and maintenance documentation to standardize technical operations across all service centers.
- Customer Engagement: Interact with customers when required to resolve escalated technical issues or explain product functionalities, ensuring brand satisfaction.
- Product Development Feedback: Provide technical feedback to the engineering and R&D teams regarding recurring field issues and possible design enhancements.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote and ensure adherence to safety protocols during product handling, maintenance, and troubleshooting at dealership workshops.
The Technical Support Specialist is expected to travel to different dealership locations within their designated area to provide on-ground support. Candidates must also be flexible for short-term assignments in other cities, especially for training or new dealership setup activities.
This role is essential to maintaining Revoo EV’s commitment to quality service and customer confidence in electric mobility solutions.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Technical Support Specialist role at Revoo EV, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 1–2 years of practical experience in motorbike, e-bike, automotive, or home appliance service and maintenance. However, fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of EV systems, including battery packs, motors, controllers, and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems effectively.
- Familiarity with common diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to maintain technical documentation.
- Communication Skills: Strong presentation, training, and communication skills in both English and Urdu to conduct dealer training sessions and handle customer interactions.
- Adaptability: Willingness to travel frequently for dealer support and training. Must also be ready to relocate to Karachi for one month of technical training (all expenses covered by the company).
