Job Description
The position of Trainee Automation Engineer is an entry-level technical role focused on learning and supporting industrial automation projects. The selected candidates will work closely with senior engineers, team leaders, and site supervisors to gain hands-on exposure to automation systems used in real industrial environments.
Trainee Engineers will be involved in basic programming and configuration tasks related to PLCs, HMIs, and industrial drives. Training and exposure will include working on automation platforms from leading brands such as Siemens, Delta, Mitsubishi, Omron, and other commonly used industrial control systems. The role is structured to gradually build technical confidence while ensuring work is performed under proper supervision.
Candidates will assist in preparing work records, daily reports, and basic technical documentation related to ongoing projects. Maintaining proper records is an important part of industrial automation work, and trainees will be guided to understand documentation standards followed in professional engineering environments.
The role involves coordination with office-based engineering teams as well as site teams. Trainees may be assigned to factory sites for commissioning, troubleshooting, or installation support.
