Job Description – Trainee Engineers Program
The Trainee Engineers Program is a structured entry-level opportunity aimed at fresh graduates who are ready to begin their careers in technical roles that impact real-world systems. This is your chance to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to active industrial operations at one of Pakistan’s leading oxygen and gas manufacturers.
As a Trainee Engineer, you will undergo an intensive hands-on orientation that spans multiple departments and technical domains. Depending on your academic background and aptitude, you will be placed in either the Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Training: You will receive detailed, structured training on production processes, quality control systems, safety protocols, and operational maintenance of gas plant equipment.
- Field Exposure: Real-time exposure to plant operations, control systems, and gas distribution pipelines at Port Qasim facility.
- Project Involvement: You will assist senior engineers on various projects involving equipment optimization, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
- Process Monitoring: Learn to monitor and analyze operational parameters using tools such as DCS (Distributed Control Systems), SCADA, or manual logs.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure safety and health regulations are met, and engage in safety drills and audits as part of the company’s zero-incident culture.
- Data Reporting: Prepare daily reports, participate in root-cause analysis for any breakdowns, and work on improving operational efficiency through data analysis.
- Maintenance Planning: Collaborate with maintenance teams to understand scheduled and predictive maintenance models for compressors, chillers, generators, and pipelines.

Eligibility Criteria – Who Should Apply?
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering from a HEC-recognized university.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their degree in the past 1 year.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience (internships or project work) in a manufacturing or industrial setting are also eligible.
Technical Knowledge:
