Job Description

The Trainee Estimation Engineer at SoftRock Tech Ltd. will play an essential role in supporting the company’s estimation department by assisting in cost estimation, quantity calculations, and documentation for various construction projects. This role offers a unique opportunity for recent civil engineering graduates to develop hands-on experience and gain exposure to the complete estimation process — from initial project planning to final cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities include:

Assisting in the preparation of quantity take-offs and material calculations for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Supporting senior engineers in developing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed cost estimates.
Collecting and analyzing data related to material prices, labor costs, and subcontractor quotations.
Conducting research to ensure the accuracy and competitiveness of cost estimates.
Assisting in documentation for tenders, proposals, and project submissions.
Maintaining organized records of project data, drawings, and revisions.
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify key elements affecting cost.
