Job Description

The Trainee Industrial Engineer position at Procon Engineering Pvt. Ltd. offers an excellent opportunity for fresh engineering graduates to begin their professional journey within one of Pakistan’s most dynamic manufacturing organizations. This role is designed to provide structured learning, technical training, and exposure to all aspects of industrial and production processes.

The selected candidates will work under the guidance of senior engineers and departmental heads in the Industrial Engineering Department, gaining practical experience in process optimization, production planning, lean management, and workflow improvement. The trainees will actively contribute to the analysis and enhancement of existing manufacturing systems while learning how to design efficient operational solutions aligned with the company’s goals.

This program emphasizes learning through doing — encouraging trainees to observe, analyze, and improve day-to-day plant operations, from material flow to productivity enhancement. The role provides a deep understanding of how engineering principles are applied to achieve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in an industrial setup.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in time studies, process mapping, and production analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
Support senior engineers in optimizing operational workflows and reducing production bottlenecks.
Participate in implementing lean manufacturing principles and cost-saving initiatives.
Help develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new and existing processes.
Contribute to data collection, documentation, and performance reporting to support decision-making.
