2. Job Description
MaxPower is currently offering 09 Trainee Technician positions as part of a structured training and development program. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity at their Head Office in Lahore, ideal for diploma holders in electrical, electronics, or renewable energy disciplines. The program provides comprehensive, hands-on experience across several departments, including Site Engineering, Repairing Lab, and Technical Support.
The position starts with a 3-month training period, during which selected candidates will be provided with technical and practical exposure under the supervision of senior engineers and managers. You’ll work directly on ongoing maintenance tasks, service support, and hardware troubleshooting in a real industrial environment. During this time, you’ll also receive a monthly stipend and free meals at the facility.
Once the training is successfully completed, candidates will transition into full-time roles with fixed salaries and the potential for long-term placement based on performance and organizational needs. MaxPower is committed to career growth and offers bi-annual salary increments, annual leaves, bonus payouts, gratuity, and fuel allowance.
As a Trainee Technician, your day-to-day work will include:
- Assisting senior technicians in diagnosing and fixing faults in solar panels and energy systems
- Performing scheduled maintenance, testing, and calibration of installed systems
- Working in the repairing lab on component-level diagnostics and part replacements
- Participating in technical documentation, inventory checks, and service reports
- Supporting site engineers on installations and hardware replacements at customer locations
- Learning how to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot solar inverters and energy storage systems
- Collaborating with the technical support team to resolve client complaints or service tickets
- Following strict safety guidelines and contributing to maintaining a safe work environment
Work hours are Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and all duties are performed on-site at the company’s Lahore facility. The goal of this role is not just to train you for short-term needs but to bring you on as a permanent team member in a company that continues to grow across the renewable energy sector.
3. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Trainee Technician Program at MaxPower Solar Energy, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
Education Requirements:
- Must hold a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE)
- Preferred disciplines include Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Renewable Energy
- Fresh graduates or those awaiting final result declarations are welcome to apply
Technical Aptitude:
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits, troubleshooting techniques, and power systems
- Interest in solar technology and willingness to learn about PV (photovoltaic) systems
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in electrical maintenance is a plus
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, use basic measuring instruments, and follow service checklists
Workplace Readiness:
- Must be comfortable working in a workshop, lab, and field environment

- Good basic communication in Urdu or English (spoken and written)
- Ability to follow instructions, ask for help when needed, and report problems promptly
