Scholarship Description

The HONHAAR Scholarship Program 2025 is aimed at undergraduate students starting their academic journey in selected universities and colleges. The program’s primary goal is to ensure that talented individuals with limited financial resources can access high-quality higher education.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the HONHAAR Scholarship Program 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:

General Requirements:
- No age limit for applicants.
- Applicant must have a domicile of Punjab.
- No gender-specific restrictions — open to both male and female students.
Financial Criteria:
- Monthly family income must be less than:
  - Rs. 350,000 for students in Public Sector HEIs.
  - Rs. 500,000 for students in Federal or Private Sector HEIs.
- Applicants must submit an Affidavit on E-Stamp (sample available for download) to verify income.
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must be enrolled in the 1st semester/year of selected disciplines in eligible universities/colleges in 2025.
- Students already enrolled in the 1st year of MBBS or BDS in 2025 are eligible.
- Minimum academic performance requirements:
  - Public Sector Universities/Colleges: ≥ 70% for Sciences, ≥ 65% for Arts and Social Sciences.
  - MBBS/BDS (Public Sector Medical/Dental Colleges): ≥ 80%.
  - Federal & Private Universities: ≥ 70% for Sciences, ≥ 65% for Arts and Social Sciences.
  - HED Colleges: ≥ 65% for Sciences, ≥ 60% for Arts.
Merit Determination:
- Merit will be calculated using a 30% weightage from Matric and 70% from Intermediate results.

Scholarship Coverage

The HONHAAR Scholarship Program offers 100% tuition fee coverage for the full duration of the degree, provided that the student maintains satisfactory academic performance as per the program’s requirements.
