2. Job Description

ARSON Engineering is inviting applications for the position of Trainee Engineer – Power System Studies. This opportunity is tailored for fresh electrical engineering graduates or individuals with up to six months of relevant experience. The Trainee Engineer will be involved in the technical assessment and simulation of power systems using ETAP. Under the guidance of senior engineers, the selected candidate will participate in project execution phases including data collection, modeling, result interpretation, and report writing. This position provides hands-on exposure to real-world projects, offering valuable learning experiences for a graduate engineer aiming to specialize in the field of electrical system studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing power system studies including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, motor starting, and protection coordination using ETAP.
  • Develop and update one-line diagrams and models of electrical networks based on client data.
  • Work on client-specific power system projects under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Contribute to the development of technical reports summarizing study findings and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Support in the validation of input data, checking accuracy of existing models, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Attend internal training sessions to improve understanding of ETAP modules and power system principles.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of assigned tasks, analysis results, and learning outcomes.
