Job Description
The position of International Office Officer at FAST-NUCES is a critical administrative and operational role within the university’s International Office. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison for managing a wide range of international programs and initiatives that connect FAST-NUCES with universities, organizations, and stakeholders around the world. This role requires a combination of administrative expertise, cross-cultural communication skills, and strategic thinking to ensure the effective implementation of global initiatives.
A central responsibility of the International Office Officer will be the management of end-to-end international programs. This includes overseeing exchange programs, dual-degree arrangements, and faculty mobility projects. These programs require careful coordination between the university’s academic departments, partner institutions abroad, and participating students and faculty members. The officer will ensure that all logistical and academic requirements are met, from initial agreements to final evaluations.
The officer will also be tasked with developing and maintaining global university partnerships. This involves drafting and reviewing Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and other formal agreements, ensuring they meet the strategic objectives of FAST-NUCES. Once agreements are signed, the officer will oversee their implementation, monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that may arise.

These events are crucial for promoting the university’s international programs and fostering a welcoming environment for foreign students.
Another important function will be to track program data, prepare detailed reports, and leverage MS 365 and AI tools to improve the efficiency of operations. The officer will be expected to identify ways to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the International Office.
Furthermore, the International Office Officer will be responsible for the oversight of ongoing international programs. This requires continuous monitoring to ensure these programs remain aligned with institutional goals and continue to deliver value to participants.
Finally, the officer will handle inquiries from both national and international students, providing clear, accurate, and helpful responses. This requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex administrative processes with ease.
